Continuing the story of my visit to Casa Decor 2014, on the third floor of this emblematic building, in a room with a beautiful window which strained a spectacular beam of light, designer Mariles Cervera He had recreated a flirty reading and painting workshop. I really liked the bleached hardwood floors, and also wall covered by a wallpaper by Jessica Job.
A large work table presided over the stay. You asked Mariles of who he was and he told me that all the tables – including the iron envecido with flavor between retro and vintage, they were from the French company, with whom he used to work frequently. Taking advantage of one of the corners of the room, the Interior Designer had also placed an as wide Lounger, which almost could act as extra bed. The piece was signed by Nacho de la Vega -which has always made of fabrics, and wallpaper, one of the essential elements to create interior space.
And that, in his opinion, the spaces should thrill, be warm, attractive, suggestive, be invited to enter and stay. Is clear that Mariles, who also love to paint and do it very well – proof of this are all those small sheets of flowers, painted by it, and, here and there, over the entire stay-, has because of drinking from these same sources.
The good thing about Home Decor is that you can pass a space so sophisticated as the sisters Carrillo to this one, very reminiscent of the classic French Provencal style made a mixture of shabby chic farm, and vintage style that I love!
