Cyprus is a popular destination and it is not difficult to have fun there but it is always good with a few tips:
The sun! In principle, everyone who chooses to travel to Cyprus does so primarily for the wonderfully beautiful weather so that you can lie on a fine sandy beach and sunbathe and swim in the beautiful sea. As Cyprus is an island, there are seas and beaches all over the country. The best tourist beaches are adjacent to the tourist resorts because they are adapted and prepared, but you can easily find more secluded places to swim, if you want. Cyprus has very good water quality so you can swim without worrying about bacteria.
If you are a party person, you probably want to stick to the areas where it is more busy, such as in Ayia Napa, but if you are looking for a little more peace and quiet, you should visit Paphos, for example. It is a small town on the west side and the residents themselves say that the town is like a museum as it is full of historical relics. Here you can look at catacombs, ruins and beautiful mosaics, while a relatively wild wildlife is just around the corner.
Akamas National Park. If you like traveling around and not just lying on the beach, maybe a jeep safari is for you? Akamas is a peninsula on the west side. Although it is a national park, it does not seem to be so famous. No people live here, it is just wild nature with trails you can walk or jeep along.
The name Nicosia may have been mentioned by many. It is a city with a focus on culture, restaurants and cafes. The city is divided into two parts; Turkish Cypriot (north) and Greek Cypriot (south), due to differences between the two countries. In the southern part is the old town, which dates from the 16th century. If you then want to look at the northern part, you must bring your passport! It may seem strange but it depends on the division of the city. Here it is a different spirit, more Turkish and it is an experience to see both halves. An odd target in the northern part is a button shop that has become very famous as they only have buttons from the 50s and 60s! Tourists from all over the world make a pilgrimage here to see these buttons.
According to usprivateschoolsfinder, Romantic Cyprus can be said and that is really true. It gives such a cozy and romantic feeling to walk hand in hand with your loved one on the beautiful beaches, drink wine in the restaurants and just enjoy life. Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, is said to have blown into the shores of Cyprus and here is the cliff of Aphrodite. It is a larger cliff that juts out over the beach and here almost every romantic couple takes photos as a memory. This cliff is probably one of the most visited places in Cyprus.
Whatever you choose to do with your time in Cyprus, you will have a wonderful holiday. It can not go wrong in Cyprus as there is a lot to do, but feel free to plan before you travel.
