These two zip codes are home to some of New Jersey’s most affluent communities, with luxury homes and high-end shopping centers. Moving southward, zip code 07701 covers the area surrounding Asbury Park, a city on the Atlantic Ocean coast that has seen a resurgence in recent years. This zip code contains numerous restaurants and shops along its boardwalk and downtown area. The fifth city of New Jersey is Hoboken. This small city has a population of 54,000 and is located in the northeastern part of the state. It is known for its vibrant nightlife and cultural attractions, including the Hoboken Historical Museum, which houses artifacts from the city’s history. The waterfront area of the city offers spectacular views of Manhattan across the Hudson River. Moving further south are Essex and Union Counties which contain some of the largest cities in the state such as Newark and Elizabeth. These counties have a mix of urban areas with an abundance of cultural attractions like museums and theaters as well as more rural areas with plenty of open space for outdoor activities. Finally there are Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean Counties located on the southern tip of New Jersey. These counties are known for their beaches and boardwalks that attract visitors from all over the country each summer. In addition to their beach towns these counties also have plenty of forests for camping trips or fishing spots along their inlets for those looking for a more peaceful getaway.
