On the tropical island of Puerto Rico, the average temperature is 30°C. From July to October it is a few degrees warmer than in the other months. Roughly speaking, this is also hurricane season. It may be a reason to avoid this island during that period. Puerto Rico is quite wet, with rainfall all year round. Often in short heavy showers. It is certainly not extremely wet. In the north, on the Atlantic coast, there is almost twice as much precipitation as on the Caribbean coast in the south.
